Perched on the shore of Georgian Bay in the village of Lion's Head, Lighthouse Lodge is your basecamp for the Bruce Peninsula. The Grotto, Tobermory, Flowerpot Island, Singing Sands Beach, and the Chi-Cheemaun ferry to Manitoulin Island are all close at hand — along with hundreds of miles of hiking on the Bruce Trail.
But you may not want to leave. Between the included kayaks, the stream and waterfall running through the property, and the ever-changing view of the harbour and marina, the lodge itself is the destination.

Paddle to the Lion's Head Lookout
Slip into one of the lodge's included kayaks and set off on a breathtaking short paddle toward the Lion's Head Lookout. Gliding over brilliant emerald shallows so clear you can count the stones below, you'll look straight up at the colossal limestone cliffs of the Niagara Escarpment rising dramatically from the Georgian Bay shoreline.

Two kayaks wait on the dock. Glide out across turquoise, crystalline waters right past the historic Lion's Head lighthouse at the harbour entrance, explore the rugged limestone shoreline, or paddle toward the towering lookout bluffs. The bay is yours.
